Short Bio

Raised in New York and growing roots in Nashville, pop singer-songwriter Kate Yeager delivers powerful, raw vocals with lyrics that make you question “How does she know my life?” Seeing Kate live makes you feel like you are spending a night in her living room listening to stories, laughing and crying over boxed wine ~or tea~ with pals. If a HAIM and Kelly Clarkson had a baby then Kate is your bread and butter, honey.

Long Bio

Raised in New York and growing roots in Nashville, pop singer-songwriter Kate Yeager delivers powerful, raw vocals with lyrics that make you question “How does she know my life?” Seeing Kate live makes you feel like you are spending a night in her living room listening to stories, laughing and crying over boxed wine ~or tea~ with pals. If a HAIM and Kelly Clarkson had a baby then Kate is your bread and butter, honey.

“We all at one point have been looked at & told we aren’t good enough,” says Kate. “I want my music to be a safe haven. I want people to know there is a seat at the table for them here.”

Kate's professor at NYU, Dan Charnas (The Big Payback, The Breaks), has one rule: students are never allowed to use the words ‘genuine,’ ‘timeless,’ or ‘authentic’ to describe their work. However, after her college showcase, Charnas approached Kate with an amendment. “Tonight I watched my daughter, my wife, & her mother fall in love with you,” he said. “You are the only person who is allowed to use the word timeless in this program.”
